Family
Consultation
Your local chapter representative is available to meet with your family to
facilitate the planning and answering questions of your family.
Education
A variety of educational opportunities are
available for persons affected by dementia. These include: health
fairs, conferences, workshops, and specially
designed training programs.
Advocacy
The Greater Wisconsin Chapter, along with community volunteers,
is active in advocating for the needs and rights of persons
with dementia.
Lending
Library
Books, pamphlets, and audio-video tapes are available to professional
and family caregivers.
Public
Awareness
Regional offices sponsor Memory Walks,
golf outings, and other special events aimed at raising awareness
and dollars for local programs and services for
individuals with dementia.

Information
The importance of early diagnosis is especially important when
dealing with dementia. Your local chapter representative can
guide you through the necessary
steps to getting a medical assessment, diagnosis, and support.
